Decleor tan accelerator is a product that is very useful for those individuals that have a tendency to burn easily in the sun. It works through a process that causes the melanin buried deep within your skin to begin to rise to the surface in a desire to protect the flesh from sun exposure. Normally fair skinned individuals will burn badly in the sun, begin peeling, and end up nearly as pale as they were before after going through several days to two weeks of being in pain and feeling sore and stiff. There are a few tricks and tips to using Decleor tanning accelerators and other products that will enhance the ability to get a tan with a much lower chance of burning in the sun. The first tip is to exfoliate all of your skin. This will remove the dead and damaged portions of your outer dermal layer and cause the melanin buried five layers deep in your skin to come forward more readily to try and prevent burning.

Exfoliation followed by applications of Decleortan accelerators will allow for the skin to become incredibly soft and silky to the touch. The process takes several days and the instructions suggest ten to fourteen days prior to prolonged sun exposure and attempted tanning. The product is not sticky and as soon as it dries, this doesn’t take long, clothing can be put on again. It is suggested that areas such as the elbows, knees, and forehead have special attention placed on them due to their dry nature or ease of burning when it comes to tanning.

Follow this up by using a strong Decleor sunblock to protect the skin further. With the melanin in the upper layer of skin now there will be less burning and the sunblock protects further so that the end result is a slowly growing sun-kissed tan that moves into a golden brown type.

It should be noted that despite the melanin coming to the surface the skin color will not change without sun exposure. Decleor tan accelerator makes it easier to tan without burning but it is not a spray on tan formula.
